- Special requests — any notes you voluntarily provide
We do not collect:
- Passport or identity document numbers
- Browsing behaviour or tracking cookies beyond basic analytics
- Any data from minors under 18
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to:
- Process and manage your booking
- Allow you to look up your reservation using your reference code and email
- Communicate with you about your stay if necessary
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not send unsolicited promotional emails.
4. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified third-party payment provider. When you pay, your card details are transmitted directly and securely to that provider. Keba Guesthouse never receives, sees, or stores your full card number, CVV, or expiry date.
Your payment data is governed by the privacy policy of our payment provider, which is available on their platform at the time of checkout.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your booking data is stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase (PostgreSQL), protected by industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised property staff only.
We retain booking records for a minimum of 3 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes, after which data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Objection — object to processing where we rely on legitimate interests
